This Privacy Policy describes how M Studio Labs ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application, "INNER". By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Who we are

M Studio Labs is the operator of the App, a curated city discovery service for travelers and locals. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data under this Policy.

2. What we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account info. Your email address and basic profile details (such as your name) provided when you sign in with Apple or Google, along with the year or date of birth you provide during onboarding.
Usage data. How you interact with the App — for example, which categories you browse, which places you save, and which itineraries you create.
Device info. Device type, operating system, app version, language settings, and IP address.
Location data. Your device's location, only if you enable location permissions. You can revoke this at any time in your device settings, and the App still works without it — you can choose your city manually.

In addition, certain information is provided by third parties:

Place data from Google. Place names, addresses, coordinates, photos, and opening hours are retrieved from the Google Places API. Your interactions with Google's services are also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
Authentication providers.Apple and Google share limited profile information when you sign in, in accordance with their own policies.
Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, your device shares a token with us so we can send you alerts about new curated places.

3. How we use your data

We use the data we collect to:

Provide and improve the App — keep it running, fix bugs, and develop new features.
Personalize your experience — show you the city you've selected, the categories you care about, and notify you when new curated places drop in your area.
Understand how people use the App — analyze usage patterns to make better curation and product decisions.
Maintain security and prevent misuse — protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access, and verify that users meet age requirements.

4. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK users)

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on:

Performance of a contract — to provide the App after you create an account.
Consent — for location access, push notifications, and any optional analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Legitimate interests — to improve the App, prevent abuse, and ensure security.
Legal obligation — where required by law.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as described below:

Service providers. Cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, push notification delivery, and authentication providers, who process data on our behalf under appropriate contracts.
Google. When you tap a place to get directions, the App redirects you to Google Maps. Once you leave the App, your interaction with Google Maps is governed by Google's policies.
Legal and safety. When required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of M Studio Labs, our users, or others.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate safeguards.

6. International data transfers

The App is designed to scale across many cities and countries. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, UK, or other regulated regions, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the App and for the purposes described in this Policy. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data
Restrict or object to certain processing
Receive your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent at any time
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You can also delete your account directly in the App, which will remove your saved places, itineraries, and profile data.

9. Children's privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 16, or the minimum age required by your country's laws, whichever is greater. Some content within the App relates to venues that serve alcohol or operate at night, and may be restricted to users above the legal drinking age in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the applicable minimum age. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-party services

The App relies on and links out to third-party services, including Google Places, Google Maps, Apple Sign-In, and Google Sign-In. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these services. Please review their respective policies.

12. Push notifications

If you opt in, we send notifications about new curated places added in your city and other service-related updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, where the changes are material, provide a more prominent notice (such as an in-app message). Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile application "INNER" operated by M Studio Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. About the App

The App is a curated city discovery service that helps travelers and locals find high-quality places to eat, drink, go out, and stay. Place information (names, addresses, coordinates, photos, opening hours, and similar data) is sourced from the Google Places API. Curation — including categories, subcategory tags, and editorial notes — is provided by M Studio Labs.

The in-app map is a discovery tool only and is not intended for navigation. When you request directions, the App redirects you to Google Maps.

2. Eligibility

To use the App, you must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required by the laws of your country, whichever is greater. Some content within the App relates to venues that serve alcohol or operate at night. By using such content, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age in your country and agree to comply with all applicable laws.

3. Your account

To use the full functionality of the App, you must sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your authentication credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Providing accurate information, including a truthful year or date of birth

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we suspect fraudulent or abusive use.

4. License to use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, and subject to these Terms.

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App
Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others
Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the App or its content
Interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or its networks
Attempt to harvest, scrape, or extract curated content, place lists, or editorial notes for commercial use or to build a competing product
Misrepresent your identity or age
Use the App to harass, harm, or impersonate others

5. Curated content and intellectual property

5.1 Our content

All curated content in the App — including category systems, subcategory tags, editorial curator notes, the selection and arrangement of places, the App's design, logos, trademarks, and software — is owned by M Studio Labs or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.

5.2 Third-party place data

Place names, addresses, coordinates, photos, opening hours, and similar venue information are provided by Google through the Google Places API. Use of this data is also subject to Google's Terms of Service. We do not own this data and do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness.

5.3 Your content

The places you save, the mini-itineraries you create, and any other content you generate within the App ("User Content") remain yours. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the App to you.

6. Disclaimers

The App and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Place information. We do not guarantee that place data is accurate, complete, current, or that any venue will be open, available, or operate as described. Hours, prices, menus, and operations change frequently. Always verify directly with the venue before traveling.
Curation is subjective. Our curated recommendations reflect editorial opinion and are not guarantees of quality, suitability, or safety.
Third-party services. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of any venue, third-party service, or external app (including Google Maps and Google Places).
No professional advice. The App does not provide travel, medical, safety, legal, or financial advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

The App is provided to you free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, M Studio Labs and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or relating to your use of the App.
To the extent any liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed USD 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

8. Push notifications

If you opt in, we may send push notifications about new curated places in your city or other service-related updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

9. Changes to the App and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice (such as an in-app message). Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Upon termination, the license granted in Section 4 ends immediately, but Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, and 12 will survive.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the courts located in [Jurisdiction], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you are a consumer in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, nothing in this section limits the rights you have under your local law.

12. Apple and Google App Store terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you also agree to the terms set out by Apple for use of its app stores. To the extent these Terms conflict with those store terms, the store terms apply only to the limited extent of the conflict.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and M Studio Labs regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.
